Ortho-Bionomy® Is For Animals Too! Cats, Dogs & More.
A client called and asked if she could bring in her dog, Shadow. “Of course,” I said, and asked what happened. Shadow had tried to jump on the bed but missed. He’s a 12-year-old dachshund mix—long body, short legs—and he hurt his hip and back leg. He couldn’t walk.
When he arrived, he was shaking with pain and fear. I started by calming his nervous system, then worked on his lower spine, hip, and leg. Shadow was such a champ. After his first session, he could stand again—still wobbly, but standing! I saw him a few more times to help release his spine.
A few weeks later, Shadow was back to running on the beach. Watch his video—it’s amazing! I did suggest a vet visit for x-rays, but they said nothing could be done and just gave him pain meds. Looks like they hadn’t heard of Ortho-Bionomy®!

A Boy & His Dog
A neighbor found a wounded osprey lying in the road, likely attacked by a murder of crows while trying to protect its nest. Recognizing a suffering creature, she brought it to me, knowing my reputation as the animal rescuer. We gently placed him in a box and offered some water. While she went to find a place to care for his puncture wounds, I comforted him with some Ortho-Bionomy®, sensing he was in shock and unsteady on his feet.
What happened next was truly remarkable. When I lightly placed my hand at the back of his neck, just where his wings meet his body, he bowed his head almost to his feet — as if silently saying, “Thank you, I trust you.” In that moment, I felt a deep connection, a mutual understanding born of kindness.
